Ryan Mcdonald, MD

Dr. Ryan McDonald is the best of the best neurologists out there. He is brilliant and truly a gifted physician. He takes the time to explain things well. My elderly mom is truly grateful for him.

I at first found Dr. McDonald interested and caring. However, he greatly scolded me for being 7 or 8 minutes late when I tried to explain I was behind a terrible accident and part of the freeway was shut down. He was not understanding. My next visit I had to wait over an hour past my appointment time and they did not try to explain the delay and there were no apologies from him or his staff. This totally soured me on going there.

Took lots of time with us. Very personable and knowledgeable.

Dr. McDonald can be very kind and attentive. CAN be. He isn't always, and that's an understatement. If you'd like to give him a try, I'd say go ahead and do it. I think he is a very gifted doctor.

Seems like a good doctor and a good person too. However punctuality is never a priority. If you have an appointment - feel free to arrive an hour later - you'll be close to when he is ready to see you... or not.. If not - no worries, you can always reschedule to a month later and try again the same way. I would not recommend this doctor unless you would enjoy to be the part of this ridiculous process.
