Dr. Ryan Roderick Rees, MD

If I could rate him with negative stars I would. He’s atrocious. My daughter was a patient of his and about a month ago suddenly had an excruciating headache, dizziness and nausea. We went to a freestanding ER where they took a cat scan and discovered she had a very large mass near her spinal cord. They prescribed some pain and anti nausea medicine and referred us to a neurologist surgeon. Her insurance requires a visit to her primary first. Not sure if he even bothered to look at her scan because he told her to “take a very strong drug, a nap and told her she was being hormonal.” When she asked about alternatives to taking the perc as she hoped to go to work (ER nurse) and sarcastically he asked her if she was refusing treatment. (It’s no surprise people get hooked on percs when they are prescribed so quickly). She came home and took one of the pain pills, a nap and two hours later she was in worse pain and hadn’t slept. We then went to the main hospital’s ER and had a… MRI. She was admitted to ICU and having brain surgery a few days later. So much for it being “hormones” as Rees had diagnosed. I wouldn’t send my worse enemy to him for anything! Awful doctor. Several months ago she had two episodes of heart racing which he also said was due to hormones. He should have said if it happened again she would need to go see a cardiologist. Again - condescending and terrible doctor. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO HIM!!!

Best doctor in town

He is a Great Doctor. He is easy to get to see, Pat and Jean are excellant. It is a great team and very through. He does not miss anything and checks everything unlike other dr.'s who are in a hurry. He takes time with you.

I've been seeing dr Rees for 5 years and at the beginning he was good but the last 3 years he has been sarcastic, ill-tempered and short with me. I don't know if it is because of issues in his personal life or frustration with my fibromyalgia condition. His office receptionist is mean and nasty and treated my handicapped son with contempt. I do NOT recommend this doctor.

Great Doctor. I didn't have anything life threatening, but he fixed my problem quickly and cheaply. He is very easy to talk to and very good at explaining the problems and possible fixes. Also one of the few doctors taking new patients. I would surely recommend for sure.

In my nearly 60 years I have only met 2 Dr.s who have had this quality of caring about the patients. Dr. Rees is One of those Dr.sIt is s great feeling to know he is in my corner!

I have been to Dr. Rees for 2 years. He is an excellent physician. The office staff is extremely efficient and courteous. I have had several health issues & Dr. Rees is always available for support.
