Very rude hateful staff, the head of the front office is mean and belittle and dismissive and plays gatekeeper with everyone’s applications and paperwork , if she doesn’t like you she has her ways of making sure you don’t get your appointment , this plac is a racket they will sit there and laugh and smirk at people with serious conditions who are in pain and it’s just sickening... word is spreading about this horrible office and here they treat their patients terribly

A prospective patient must jump through so many hoops that a person of low income or social standing will not be able to do it on their own. Then after jumping through the hoops, the doctor gets to decide if you're good enough to be his patient. Again, these are discriminatory practices giving the Doctor the ability to weed out those he does not like.

Good bedside manner, listens to your problems and suggestions. Does't look down on you and remembers you unlike other Dr.'s I've seen. I highly recommend him.

I first saw dr. schafer when he first left the indian clinic and he was great. He took his time and listened to everything I needed to talk to him about. the last 4 or 5 times i saw him (i see him every month) he was in a hurry and didn't seen interested or concerned about my problems. also his nurse is not very smart.

Dr. Schafer is a great family doctor!

Love the new clinic! You can really walk-in and see Dr. Schafer. No more calling and getting the run-around from the receptionist about having to wait 6 weeks to see my doc. Nail salons work on a walk-in model and finally a GREAT doctor is doing it too! Easy to find right across from Mercy's ER and near the YMCA. I'm glad I found where he moved after leaving the indian clinic. Best doc I've ever had at explaining my diagnosis and taking time with me and my first time mom questions! He's a baby whisperer!!!!!!!

I have multiple and complex problems that have been evaluated by many doctors of many specialties. Dr. Schafer listens to my problems and questions and responds without talking down to me. He is willing to try variations to textbook answers when needed. He is also very good at referring to specialists when a problem is not treatable by normal methods.
