Dr. Ryan Mcclain Swearingen, MD

I was in this office for an 11:15 appt today. The Med Asst named Angie asked me in the exam rm if my brother’s pharmacy choice was WalMart. I said no that he goes to Walgreen’s on Columbia Ave in Hammond. She said okay. When we left the exam rm we made the next appt with the First Lady you come to (she is a middle aged woman whose name might be Nala..maybe wrong on the name) and asked her if they sent the 2 scripts to Walgreen’s on Columbia and her answer was…whatever I you told the med asst. she could have caught the error tight there. I go to Walgreen’s and script not there yet. We wait, go thru drive thru a little later..still not at Walgreen’s. Call dr office they said they sent it to Wal Mart. Can you send it here to Walgreen’s. Lady at dr said okay. Walgreen’s said the would text when they got it. We went to lunch By now it is 1:45. We left the dr. at about 12:15. Called dr office again. Went to Walgreen’s again…No script. Called dr again…woman says do you want me… to cancel WalMart. Well yes. Finally the script comes to Walgreen’s but they could not use insurance because it was already filled at WalMart. I had to go to WalMart by Cabella’s and take my brother back home. Both these women were incompetent and I think they should be reprimanded if not fired. My brother has an appt in May but I am not sure I will even bring him back for that. I just got home to Valparaiso at 4:30.
