Dr. Ryan Robert Walsh, MD

I have seen Dr. Walsh for a few years now. I would characterize him as extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, but distant and lacking compassion. He is brutally honest in my appointments; he sugar-coats nothing. While I trust his judgement and treatment plan, I leave every meeting with him feeling discouraged and depressed.

I have been battling a movement disorder for about 4 years. I went to see Dr. Walsh, supposedly due to his great reputation and to establish him as my next care provider due to me moving. He only spent about 20 minutes with me but charged me for a 45 minute visit. He never looked at any previous physician reports or test results. He very briefly looked at a scan and said it was "unremarkable", which was not true according to other physicians. He then said there was nothing he could do for me and to "not bother coming back". I was stunned. I would not recommend him at all!!

Ive had an ongoing problem with a VA prognosis. Dr. Walsh has gone far beyond the call of duty helping us find a solution. Ive had a few doctors let me dangle slowly in the wind, but Dr. Walsh really cares about his patients. I only wish Id consulted him on day one!
