Ryan Whittaker, MSPT

Ryan Whittaker, M.S.P.T., is the Clinic Manager of Rehabilitation Services at MSU Health Care Physical & Occupational Therapy. He earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University in 2002 and has over two decades of experience specializing in outpatient orthopedics. Ryan employs a manual therapy-based and functional approach to patient care, combining his extensive clinical expertise with evidence-based practices to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Throughout his career, Ryan has taken on leadership roles, including overseeing clinic operations, mentoring staff, and spearheading innovative programs. At MSU Health Care, he collaborates closely with orthopedic surgeons and supervises the orthopedic team to ensure seamless, high-quality care for patients.
Ryan has completed numerous continuing education courses to enhance his clinical skills, including topics such as blood flow restriction therapy, the Graston Technique, kinesiotaping, spinal evaluation, …manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation. He has also developed expertise in treating temporomandibular disorders (TMD).
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys running, playing basketball, and cheering on MSU sports teams. His dedication to patient care and clinical excellence makes him a vital asset to the MSU Health Care team.
