Dr. Saeeda Kausar Malik, MD

Recently had an appointment with Dr Malik. While scheduling further testing, Dr Malik went into violent loud shouting exchange with one of her associates. You could hear her shouting all over the office. The longer the exchange lasted, the louder and angered the confrontation got. The associate doing the scheduling was quite disturbed as I was. I told the associate that my visit was over and I would not be back ever. I was very disappointed after driving some 125 miles round trip to seek help with a serious nerve problem . A most unprofessional encounter with a doctor that specializes in neurological problems. Never expected that outburst-it was rather frightening to hear and uncalled for. Thank you.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PERSON OR TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES TO HER!!! I would give her a NEGATIVE 10 star if I could. Long read but worth it if you want to know what type of person she is. I will not call her Doctor. She DOES NOT deserve that title. I have had issues of double vision and tingling/numbness also pain in area of spine for some time. I get int to see her by referral of my dr. I think good I will find out what’s going on. This poor excuse of a human was very rude. She wouldn’t listen to all my symptoms as I was trying to give her every detail in order to find out what is going on. At end of visit before I walk out she asks what type of grades I made in school! Me, looking at her like WTH?!! That was 30 years ago, I was average with A, B, and C. What do my grades 30 years ago have to do with anything I have going on today? She ordered test. Myasthenia Gravis, Brain MRI, and Seizure test. I knew I didn’t have seizures. I may not be Doctor smart but I’m not a complete idiot. I would… know if I had seizures. I also asked her to please do MRI of spine because there is a spot on spine that hurt. She refused saying only brain mri done. The Mri showed white matter And Myasthenia Gravis was negative. Of course no seizure activity. She tells me to go see my eye Dr and have them put a prism in my glasses and that will cure the double vision and she’d see me in 6 months. Lol hahaha NO!!!! You crazy as a football bat if you think I’m coming back to see you!!! Putting a prism in my glasses doesn’t answer my questions of to what is going on..... So here I am seeing a much more caring and professional neurologist. Who by the way asked for my records from Malik and she would not send them!!! I have just had VEP test and it showed delay in right eye. I am now scheduled for another MRI of brain and spine (because I was listened to this time) and a Lumbar Puncture. I do not know what is going on but at least this Doctor I am seeing now cares enough to try to figure it out. If not I will be sent to Mayo Clinic. Malik should have her license revoked as she is far from a doctor. As I was having the seizure test I heard a woman in next room repeatedly refusing to have Malik come anywhere near her again. That should of been my 2nd clue to run away. I have talked with my Doctor and told him to NEVER send one of his patients to her ever again! He was very happy I told him of how she treats patients and will not send anyone to her.

I was admitted to Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, AL. with symptoms of a stroke. Facial paralysis, slurred speech, visual impairment. I saw this doctor once, she came in poked my face and left. That was it, no follow up no nothing. The doctors kept trying to get her to come back for a consult on tests results, she never came back. The floor supervisor finally just told me she wasn't responding, at least I got the truth. She is absolutely the worst doctor I have EVER encountered. Stay very far away from this woman.

Like her total honesty and straight to the point

Could care less about my problem,wasted appointment. Second try both times very unprofessional. Wasted my time and copays,not ever going again. Recommend you look for someone that has a positive outlook.

Sad to see that she continues to treat patients the same way she treated me. Felt verbally assaulted and she was angry from the moment she walked through the door. I reported - sad to see nothing has changed. It took me a long time to get over how I was treated. People with poor health are already at their most vulnerable and should be treated kindly.

This doctor does not care about patients: has horrible scheduling, runs multiple unnecessary tests, and does not listen to her patients. Avoid at all costs!

Terrible doctor! Terrible bedside manner! Did not want me to ask questions about treatment...which i could not understand. Isn't that my right? She was very rude! To the point i wanted to speak to an attorney about it. I mentioned this to her and she fired off calling me names. NEVER have i felt so disrespected by a physician!! I did nothing to warrant such behavior except ask questions about the treatment/medication. I cannot believe Southeast Medical Center is affiliated with such a doctor!!
