Dr. Sahan Emmanuel, DO

First off, Dr. Emmanuel is the best primary care physician I have ever had, and I am 73 years old, and found him when my physician retired....My wife and I hit the gold mine with Dr Emmanuel! This rating has nothing to do with Dr. Emmanuel! Dr. Emmanuel listens and treat you with compassion and educates. you on how to treat you! My rating here has to do with the medical staff and today it is the medical assistant Autumn! She refused to notify Dr Emmanuel that my condition is the same as when I saw him, and I have been out of work for 2 weeks now! Never have I had a medical assistant that refused to send the doctor a note, or being unable to leave my physician a note on his desk! I know Dr. Emmanuel would want to know how his patients were doing! Again, I love Dr Emmanuel....Sorry Sir for giving such a low rating today!!!

Dr Emmanuel took time to answer all our questions and concerns. His bedside manner is phenomenal and not that much of a wait to see him. Knowledgeable and Kind!

Doctor Emmanuel is a fantastic doctor, personable, knowledgeable, patient, kind and genuine. He provides outstanding cafe, and he deeply cares for his patients. Our whole family sees him, his empathic, down to earth personality is what attracts his patients to him. He explains tough medical lingo into easy understanding phrases and does not have the typical nose in the air type of attitude most doctors have. He definitely calms nerves and he has a peaceful presence when he sees you. I recommend him! He is a refreshing medical doctor who genuinely cares for his patients, and he is very funny with our kids too!

I had an appointment with Dr. Emmanuel, and I must say I was very impressed with his personality. He is very genuine, easy to talk to, and extremely positive. I consider him to be the people doctor, and that he doesn’t make you feel insecure, and he doesn’t have that egotistic attitude that most physicians have. Rather, I felt like he was a friend, that I could easily talk about different topics with him. Not only about medicine, but just about life, he seems very well-versed in everything. Very lucky to have him as my family doctor. He is extraordinary, and Medicine these days can be very ordinary. Very hard to find a physician like this and I’m grateful that He has knowledge like a medical doctor, but he’s so down to earth like a family member.

I had a appointment with this Dr. yesterday. From the time that we walked in the office his staff was very nice and welcoming. The Dr. was very nice and treated My wife and I with respect. He listened to both my wife and I about my health concerns. Today I am Feeling a lot better. Thank you Dr. Emmanuel Sahan and staff.

I went to establish care with Dr. Emmanuel, but due to a history of chronic pain, have been on heavy dose pain medications and needed to establish care with a new doctor to get my medications as my previous doctor retired. I understand that the opioid crisis is an issue, and Dr. Emmanuel was excellent, he was very direct, told me that I need to see a pain management specialist and referred me. What I respect about him, is that he was direct, without spending much time going around the issue and even presented the risk of long term opioid use, as well as other options. Unfortunately nothing works to control my pain, and I respect his explanation and direct response for a referral. Most medical doctors wouldn’t even take the time to explain, or even consider my situation, but I could tell he genuinely cared and took time not to rush and explain options to me. Again, I respect his genuineness and compassion in difficult times, especially with the current situation with controlled… medications in the United States.

Dr. Emmanuel is our family doctor, literally from our baby to our parents! He is an outstanding, personable & knowledgeable doctor! He has a very patient type of bedside manner, loves to explain the disease and treatment options to us, and we never have felt like he talks down to us. I believe what makes him special, is his connection to his patients, and makes you feel comfortable without the typical ego that most medical doctors think they are entitled to! Just a humble, and genuine medical doctor! If you need a Medical Doctor for your entire family, my family would highly recommend this extraordinary Dr. Emmanuel!

Dr. Emmanuel is a young doctor, but I find his bedside manner to be excellent. It is very rare to see a medical doctor that takes paper, writes down what is going on with your diagnosis, and explain the treatment options to you. In addition, he is very easy to talk to, doesn’t make you feel pressured, allows you to participate in discussions regarding the disease and treatment protocol. My wife & I are very impressed with his humility and medical knowledge, we need more medical doctors like him. Patient, explains easily the treatment and just a rare type of doctor these days, also excellent and funny with our kids. Thank you Dr. Emmanuel.

Wow, what can I say. We have been seeing Dr. Emmanuel since he started working in the Phoenix area and we were always impressed with our first impression of him. He is very professionally, and every time I see him, he wears a bow tie, and is so patient with my husband and I. He takes the time to listen, explains into simple understanding of diagnosis and the treatment options. Dr. Emmanuel never pushes medication into your face, rather gives good advice on approaches to treatment and makes you feel as a patient that you are not being talked down to, rather he makes you feel comfortable and at ease with your opinions on your diagnosis. He is a rare type of medical school these doctors, you can tell his patients love him because of his humility, his compassion, medical knowledge and how professional he is. I highly recommend him to first time patient who has not seen a doctor in a while as well as those who have been going to a doctors office for years, His bedside manner is excellent… and he will not disappoint you, most likely you won’t see another doctor again and will call him your lifetime primary care medical doctor. Highly recommended.
