Dr Sahana Rajasekhara, MD, FACP

Dr. Sahana Rajasekhara is an internal medicine physician with extensive experience in comprehensive adult care. She earned her medical degree from Mysore Medical College and Research Institute and completed her residency training at Staten Island University Hospital Program, where she also pursued additional training in geriatric medicine and internal medicine. With 33 years of clinical practice, Dr. Rajasekhara holds board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). She provides care in English for her patients.

Dr. Rajasekhara practices at H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Her clinical expertise includes managing cancer-related pain and addressing digestive health concerns such as changes in bowel habits and constipation. She incorporates various therapeutic approaches into patient care, including coordinating physical therapy services, …radiation therapy treatments, and strength training programs. Her practice focuses on providing comprehensive internal medicine care with particular attention to the complex needs of patients facing serious health challenges.
