Dr. Said Naaman Abou-Haidar, MD

Book smart does not equal good doctor. You can be the smartest person in the world but if you're condescending and dry 24/7 you're not going to keep patients. I could only handle Dr. Haidar for 3 sessions before giving up on him. I went to him to treat one thing and he just wanted to fix other things that I already havr healthy coping mechanisms for. I took the genesight genetic test through him under the impression that I was taking their adhd med genetic test, it turned out that he actually sent in my sample for a different one. Do not go to him if you want help with anything other than depression or anxiety because he'll just give you meds for those things that make you worse.

Dr. Haidar is a highly skilled, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor who has extensive familiarity with the latest psychotropic medication interventions and therapies. I would highly recommend him to anyone- to include close family and friends.

Dr. Haidar is an experienced and knowledgeable psychiatrist who exhibits a great deal of compassion and caring in his practice. Although he sees many clients throughout the day, I have never known him to be impatient; always treating me as if I were his only concern. He is a credit to the medical community and this community is very fortunate to have him.

No people skills whatsoever. He was completely rude and condescending to me. He made me feel worse than I did when I came in. I even went for the second time, thinking he was having a bad day. Well, he was JUST as rude and did not look up from his computer screen at me once. People in need of psychiatry are obviously in mental pain and need compassion. You won't get that from Dr. Haidar. You're better off going to your primary care doctor.

Dr Haidar wrongfully diagnosised me with attation deficient disorder. He put me on concerta which made me manic and caused insomnia. I would let him know but he let me know that he was right. I got so crazy probably should have been hospitalized. I later found another doctor and I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder . I feel like dr Haidar should have figured that out just because I had so many systems of bipolar disorder. I am now on the right medications and feeling great.

I went to see this So Called Psychiatry. I was recommended from my job to see him. He's first words out of his mouth was why should he see me. I explained to him why but he still thought I should see someone else but I continue to see him first visited med. second visited more med which none I could take because of my stomach. He told me to look for new Psychiatry Because all med gave me are not working I should see someone else ( he just gave 4 differents med )My brother came in with me and he started to questions my brother. Why was he so nerves ( we just lost are brother ). After he's visit I was hospitalized for week. Now I'm looking for new Psychiatry. I'm hoping to find 1 who care for their patinets.

on the contrary of what I read before about this doctor, he was amazing in treating me and in a very short time.It is unfair to give a bias opinion if we could'nt get the result we were looking for. I really recommend this doctor for being so accurate and good listner.

Went there in crisis - spoke about suicide and his comment was "what would be better? to be in a grave and take the easy way out"Has NO Bedside manner. HE was 30 minutes late for my appointment and did not even apologize.His staff acts as if you are bothering their personal lives to get anyhelp from them.Listen for 30 minutes (not 45) and had a diagnosis for 20 years worth of my baggage.Think twice before you make an appointment with this one.
