Dr. Said Uddin, MD

Very bad office management. It is always overbooked. They make you wait for over 30 minutes every time you have an appointment. Then when it is your appointment, Dr. Uddin rushes you and barely gives you full attention. He has the rudest staff ever, just to make you feel worse on top of the sickness you or your beloved ones have. My husband was his patient for a long time and every time we had a horrible experience. Thank God we found another doctor near our house.

If I could rate this doctor a zero star I would. This doctor is contracted as a PCP provider and as a PCP provider you are responsible for submitting referrals to specialists for the ongoing healthcare of the patient. Dr. Uddin dropped the ball not just once but twice. His staff is constantly turning over and they are not equipped to provide patient care! He uses his medical assistant as his referral submitter; therefore, she cannot get to her referrals until after clinic which leaves a small window of time to process a few referrals a day! If your referral entails some extra leg work you can forget about getting it processed and he is likely to dismiss you as a patient for taking up more time than they want to give you! Because of their lack of detail needed for my surgery the referral was not submitted timely in May. In Jan they submitted my endocrinologist referral to the incorrect location which caused it to keep getting denied for 3 months until I figured out why. Beware!

Saw Uddin on Friday with my uncle. Entire office staff was late. We waited an hour to be checked in. Only vital taken was blood pressure. Oxygen sats not checked even though my uncle is on continuous oxygen. He was very condescending - to the point of being outright insulting. Did not want me to answer any questions even though uncle asked me to. I asked him to look at 2 sores on uncle. I had to remind him several times and then had to force the issue before we left his office. I was afraid one was ulcerating and wanted a dr to check it out. Uddin was very quick to "put me in my place". I've been taking care of elderly diabetic family members for 15 years! I'm not a dr, but I'm not an idiot either! Uddin listened to his chest but missed (or ignored) mild congestive heart failure and double pneumonia! The next internist we saw diagnosed both within a few minutes! I would NOT recommend Uddin for these reasons: Condescending attitude towards women, willing to rush to the… point of missing important diagnoses OR willing to ignore important diagnoses to get you out of his office, poor office management, MA's incomplete vitals process, lack of willingness to get his hands "dirty", lack of willingness to properly clean and bandage a pressure sore, rough treatment of elderly patient (because he didn't want to have to look at sore spots in nose (nasal canula ulcer) and on leg (pressure sore).

Terrible physician

Dr. Said Uddin is a â??Great Doctorâ??, he is very caring, listens to the concerns of his patients to provide the best possible remedy to treat ailments. Dr. Uddin is not hurrying you out the office to rush to the next dollar; he genuinely treats his patients with respect and tries to find the best course of treatment for his patients. Due to stroke emergency my husband had 4 years ago, which cause him to be taken by ambulance to Cypress Fairbanks Hospital on Fallbrook, this event allowed us to meet Dr. Said Uddin who was the attending resident at the time. Not knowing anything about us, he took the time to examine my husband and ask as many questions it took to understand my husband previous health issues, and providing us option towards recovery. Doctor Uddin had his knowledgeable staff assist us through insurance documents and after hospital care and follow ups. Because of him our entire family are now his patients, my husband, myself, our Sons and Daughter in laws, and I would… like to express my humble gratitude to Dr. Uddin and his entire staff, for being a caring and knowledgeable group of medical professionals who gives his patients the time and care they need to make a full or close to full recovery. We need more caring patient doctors like Dr. Uddin.

When we got new insurance Blue Cross randomly selected this quack as our PCP. Called to make an appointment for an Ear Infection and the office staff is rude, and takes a week to get in for a serious condition. Thank god we got our PCP changed. Would not go to see this doctor even if I needed to have CPR. Because you never get to see a doctor seems like all there is are PA's that don't know anything.

Dr Uddin is a very knowledgeable doctor. He always remembers not only my medical history but also reviews all my medications. His staff is very nice too. Most of the time my refills are done on time. I was admitted in the hospital and he was the only doctor who came everyday and answered all my and my families questions. His timely diagnosis saved my life. All other doctors respect his judgement too. Thanks Dr.Uddin, i highly recommend Dr.Uddin :)

Dr.Uddin is a good and trusting doctor. He may be very busy but he does remember you everytime and knows your history

I called this doctor before making the appointment to ensure that he could admit me into a certain hospital. When I got there I was told that he could not admit to this hospital. I went to him because I was released from a hospital with extreme weakness and unable to care for myself and needed to be referred to a rehab facility to complete tests the insurance company would not cover in a regular hospital. He told me to go the emergency room where I was released and he would take care of me through the ER. WHen the ER doctor called him all he told ER is that I cried in his office (basically, I was just a head case). This whole affair cost me $100 for the caregiver who took me to his office and $100 for the Copay. I was sent home in worse condition from the blood draw adn IV in ER....lost the entire day. What makes this most interesting is that it was not Dr. Uddin who did the examinationon me, it was his wife, so he had no background on my case when he talked to ER. It is a real… setback to know that there are doctors out there who not only lack compassion but do not feel that they need to have integrity either.
