Dr. Saikat Pal, MD

If this the same Dr. Pal that worked at the Inova Pediatric Emergency Room in Virginia several years ago, I had similar experience where he was dismissive of my child's severe allergy symptoms, accused her of making up her symptoms, and gave her anxiety medication. She was properly diagnosed later outside of ER and given appropriate allergy medication. If he's going to be dismissive of children and their symptoms, why work in pediatrics. I was very disappointed with his treatment.

We were very disappointed with Dr Saikat when we saw hi at The emergency room. My daughter came in with with the beginning of hives caused by bactrum(she was been treated for a kidney infection). Dr Saikat did not believe that my daughter was having a reaction from the medicine and recommended she finish the medicine. The next day we had he body was coved from head to toe with hives. She started to have a fever so, we took her to our family dr. where they immediately gave a shot for the hives. Dr Saikat seem dismissive and casual about my drs symptoms. The hospital charged us over a $1000.00 for nothing. Very disappointed with the Dr that at times didn't seem to believe my daughter.
