Dr. Sailaja C Nandipati, MD

I recently discovered charges associated with this provider that I do not recognize. I attempted to contact the office to understand the situation, but I was unable to get the information I needed. As a result, I am working through the appropriate channels to review the matter and verify the accuracy of the records. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I encourage patients to carefully review their statements and records and ask questions if something does not seem correct.

I've been seeing Dr. Nandipati for almost a decade, and have been quite pleased. She cares for her patients and takes her time with each one. I have never felt rushed during my exam and discussion time. She really listens to what I have to say, which I truly appreciate. It can be difficult to get the office on the phone at times. It seems like the window of opportunity to call them is limited -- just a couple hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon. (For example, most days the office is open 8:30 - 5:00, but the phones are only on 9:30-11:30 and 12:30-4:30.

The only reason doctors like Dr. Nandipati are still booked is because we cannot get specialists to practice in Charles County and no one wants to do the two hour commute to see another practitioner elsewhere. Expect 2 or more hours waiting for your appointment. She then leaves you in the middle of the exam for another 20+ minutes to speak to her husband, take phone calls, talk to other patients, etc. It is extremely frustrating when you have already waiting over two hours to see her and she walks out of the exam and you sit there waiting all over again. Her staff is the rudest I have come across. Don't expect to get anything done over the phone, even making appointments, if they actually answer the phones. If you cancel for any reason they will ban you from the office forever. Therefore you have to go see her even when ill. We really need to do something about getting more doctors and specialists (and especially better educated ones) in this area!
