She would always make me feel rushed in appointments. I felt lie she wants me to get out of her office as soon as possible.

My dr. was on vacation so I was referred to Dr. T. for my ongoing back pain. She greeted me with the threat of getting breast cancer from drinking 4-5 glasses of wine a week. She didn't want to feel my back where I said I had pain but instead stretched out each leg while I laid on my back. She said massage was bad, so was walking, and that I needed to rest and apply heat. She said I could do PT after the pain was gone and gave me a printout of exercises to do. I asked about muscle relaxants? She said I was too old. That she can't prescribe them to people over 65 as they're bad for the brain. I said "I just turned 64 two days ago". She then went to the computer and typed something and said, "Look, it's already giving me a warning that you're too old". She did give me a prescription though. What a waste of my co-pay.

Conceited/arrogant, doesn't listen.

This doctor gave my mother 4mg of Dilaudid for back pain cased by a compression fracture. The Dilaudid was given through muscle injuection - way too high of a dose for a 78 year old woman according to a pharmacist we talked to.She was not observed after given the injection and released immediately. My mother subsequently lost consciousness, was admitted to ER, and had depressed respiration due to overdose.I talked to a malpractice lawyer and was told I didn't really have a case unless my mother had died. So don't expect any recourse for incompetence unless you die.
