Poor quality of care is the only way I can describe the experience. Some of the frequent problems encountered were, - Dr. Mushtaq had no idea which medications her patient was on. I don't expect her to memorize all her patients medications but at least be informed about them before an appointment - Prescription refills were not called in on time on multiple occasions. I had to call the office and have them call in refills including reminding them which medications the patient was on. - Multiple virtual appointments were cancelled and/or rescheduled at the last minute. Some times, the patient would be on the session and not informed that the appointment was cancelled. - The last straw was there seemed to be no treatment plan of any sort. When emails were sent with specific questions, they either went unanswered or when there was a call made, it seemed Dr. Mushtaq had not read the emails and was just making a courtesy call. All in all, we walked away quite disappointed and frustrated… after investing months of time with this practitioner. In this business, you have to demonstrate a base level of empathy towards people dealing with difficult circumstances, can't treat them like a billable entity, which is what it felt like at times.
