Dr. Sally Mcnagny, MD

Dr. Sally McNagny is the absolute best primary care physician I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is pure gold. As someone who has multiple medical problems needing close monitoring and treatment, that is saying a lot. Dr. McNagny not only delivers thorough, smart, and impeccable care to me, she treats me with respect as a human and as a whole person, not just as a patient. When I had a (successful!) major surgery recently, Dr. McNagny spent a solid three months leading up to it checking in with me at least weekly to get me ready. She motivated me to get and be well--pricless. Her Masters in Public Health gives her extra understanding of how our American medical system works (or does not). She uses her savvy to the great benefit of her patients by advocating in ways I never knew possible. Also, her staff know me by name and are all great at what they do. If you are looking for a great PCP in the Boston area, look no further. You have hit the jackpot here. Thank You Dr. McN!

Dr. Sally McNagny is by far the most thorough, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and HUMAN primary care physician I have ever encountered in my life. Even as I have gone through a terrifying two years of heart disease and surgeries complicated by infections, she has been with me every single step of the way through virtual appointments (COVID), emails, patient portal messages, conferences with my other doctors, and sometimes simply calling me to check on how I was doing emotionally through it all. What a gem of a doctor. As a physician myself, I know you do not get reimbursed for all those extra steps she took with me, and she did it anyways. I feel privileged to be her patient!

Dr McNagny is the kind of doctor that used to exist. She takes the time to get to know her patients, listens to them and really cares. My 85 yo father sees her and I am so very pleased with her care. And I am a physician. If I lived in Boston I would have her as my PCP as well. I've recommended her to several other family friends and they are all so very happy as well. We are grateful to have found her.

She entered false information into my partners Chart which affects all practices and hospitals bought by Partners,Inc, that now affects every physician from this point forward.She flat out refused to treat my chronic pain from which I've been adjudicated as federally disabled as well as refusing any treatment for menopausal symptoms. If you're seeking to waste your time, have no need for medical treatment and get your chart messed up with no option to correct, then Dr McNagny would be an excellent choice for you.She smiles a lot while she's refusing to treat and entering highly inaccurate med notes. You might want to bring tea and cookies, which would be more appropos to the visit.
