Dr. Salma Akhter, DO

Doctor Akhter is always amazing. Never do I feel rushed. Dr. Akhter never practices production line medicine. She is educated, knowledgeable and so professional and her bedaide manner is great. I hope to never have ro find another doctor again.

Dr. Akhter has a wonderful bedside manner. She gives you her full attention and spends as much time as needed with you. She has answered questions unrelated to the reason I went in. She has promptly and accurately treated things that were brushed aside elsewhere. You often have to wait for her, but it is worth it.

Just met with her for a new patient. She put me at ease immediately. Very personable. She knows what she's looking for and explains well.

I recent went to Dr. Ahkter as my primary care physician. She is thorough in her examination and explains plans of treatment in layman terms. There is no guess work in what she recommends. She doesn't over prescribe medications. Her staff is friendly and patient. She has a wonderful personality and easy to talk to. She takes the time to listen to your concerns. I highly recommend her family and friends.

Dr. Akhter is one of the finest doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. You will wait for her full attention and time, but she does spend as much time as it takes to fulfill her duty to you! That's why she is always so busy! I love Dr. Akhter because she is one of the smartest people I know. She diagnosed a condition with which I had suffered for years and not even specialists could help me. I am feeling better than I have in years, thanks to her help. She also looks to health habits and other habits instead of overprescribing. I have referred many friends and family members to her. And, that's the only way you get in with her, because she doesn't take new, unknown patients. She has plenty of business. That should speak for itself!

If you want someone who will hang up on you, say you aren't really sick, and never explain things, she is perfect. If you want a rude doctor with lack of compassion, go to this woman.

I would recommend Dr Salma Akhter to all of my family and friends...She is such a great doctor..I looked for a long time to find the right one...I'm hoping she never leaves.
