Dr. Salud Poblete Mendoza, MD

I am very grateful of Dr. Mendoza. She has helped my mom and me for several years through the horrors of Parkinson's disease and Lewy Bodies Dimentia. She has helped my mom come back to her real personality after losing it to med interaction. That was a scary time and Dr. Mendoza really came through for us. I have peace of mind that when I need psych help for my mom, Dr. Mendoza understands her history and will do the right thing. I hope she remains available to us as long as Mom is alive. Without her, I would feel more alone in this battle against mental illness. With her, I have a partner that cares about me and my mom.

Thank goodness that we found Dr. Salud Mendoza. My mom was diagnosed with Dementia probably from Alzheimer's Disease. Alzheimer's Disease cannot be clinically diagnosed until post-mortum. She has advised us and sent us to a Clinical Phychiatrist for evaluation. She does have Alzheimer's and we have been grappling with it since 2013. Dr. Mendoza has taken my mom into the Gero-psych ward at Frisbie and adjusted her meds twice since she's moved to our home in 2013. She has maintained a "stable" life and during the last 6 years Dr. Salud Mendoza has been there helping me to manage my mom's slow but inevitable slide. Thank God for Salud Mendoza I could never had managed this episode of our lives without her expertise. She really cares.

Dr. Mendoza is far more concerned with prescribing medication than she is making people well. She took my very lucid father , who was occasionally seeing odd visions, and in one week had him incoherent, bed ridden, and almost vegetative. When the family doctor visited, he removed my father from all the weird medicines, and my dad promptly returned to humanity. Seek a second opinion every time!
