Great doctor

Great Dr. I'm a surgeon and Dr. Battaglia takes great care of my family. I refer my patients to him and his group.

I really appreciate that Dr Battaglia is GREAT with my kids. I also have a child with special needs who gets very anxious and frightened about Dr visits. He is awesome with her. Dr Battaglia is also very accurate with his diagnosis. My sister in law also goes to him from my recommendations. She is a nurse and deals with many doctors and feels this one is something special. Her kids just love him too.

I went in to see him because my regular physician wasn't available. I have a reoccuring problem with sinus infections, and my regular doctor knows this and will always write me a prescription for an antibiotic to clear it up. I have tried all the over the counter medicines and none of them work well. Despite what my file said, and what I said to him, he still "saw no reason to write me a prescription." I think after having these for 7 years I know my own body and symptoms and what I need, and its very frusturating when I take time out of my day and pay somebody to essentially not listen to me at all. It felt very condescending. And I am still in pain and will now have to pay for a second visit to my regular doctor.

In today's busy world it's hard to find someone your family can trust. After seeing him work with my wife and two young kids, I finally did the "man" thing and figured I'd use him too. He's been great to work with. Very sharp and more aware than the normal family physician. Helping my wife with her auto-imune disease and has a great understanding of it.
