Office staff is absolutely amazing!!! Dr. Miller is hands on , answered all my questions...Great MD visit!!

Even though I've worked in a hospital for over 7 years now, I had not been to a doctor in about 10 years. I guess I was afraid of what they'd tell me so I stayed away! But I knew that I was at a time in my life that I needed to seek a doctor's advice even just for general purposes. I was referred to Dr. Miller through a colleague. I have since been to Dr. Miller's office three times as he is gradually instructing me to have blood work, bone density test, mammogram, etc...... I feel great and have such peace of mind knowing that everything so far has turned out well. Dr Miller doesn't mess around. He tells me exactly what I need to know.....not just what I want to hear. There is no guessing which I really like. He has my best interests in mind and he really cares about his patient's well being which is probably why he is considered such a great doctor! His staff is wonderful and helpful and friendly! I am so happy to have Dr Miller as my 'go-to' doctor. Here's hoping my… health remains on the up and up but it feels good to know that I have a reliable ally and support no matter what!

This Dr. was nothing short of a nightmare and even years later he still haunts me. I am only writing this as a precautionary tale to anyone who may choose to assume their fate with his care. My visit was nothing short of horrific. While sitting in the waiting room not only did he leave the door open to other patients so as they might hear medical information that was not intended for them, he spoke so loudly ANYONE could hear. He made me beyond uncomfortable upon the examination as a female. There most definitely needs to be another MA present while he performs "exams." When my appointment was over, I asked him if I understood him correctly as the information was overwhelming. He couldn't care less if I understood or not. Upon leaving I explained what I thought the diagnosis was and he actually said "its all in your head', ultimately dismissing me and reaffirming his condescension towards me. Cannot for the life of me understand how he is still in practice. Beware.

DR. MILLER IS THE VERY BEST ENDOCRINOLOGIST AROUND. THE LAB IN HIS BUILDING IS VERY GOOD, ALSO. I SEND EVERYBODY I KNOW TO HIM.

after 2 weeks of geting lab work, office still did not have results by next appt

In spite of a very busy office with many patients, Dr Miller took the time to diagnose my problem including how it has affected me personally.

Was placed in his office. He was speaking with his IT person and had me sit and listen for approx. 7 min. He then handed me my lab report and told me to look at it while he went to the restroom. I sat there for 5 min until he returned. He asked me what I thought and when I proceeded to tell him, he waved his hand at me as though "brushing off my opinion". He would not listen to what I had to say. Needless to say, I have found another physician. He needs to retire.

I went to Dr Miller on the recommendation of 3 friends and my doctor. He was pleasant, upbeat, and very kind. Other patients in the waiting room spoke hughly of him and had been with him a long time. He was able to listen, helped me, and explained my illness and treatment in a ways I could understand. He even gave me his home phone number in case I had questions!

Arrived for my appointment and was put in an examining room to wait for Dr. Miller. The nurse left the room but left the door open. I could hear Dr. Miller speaking to an elderly Hispanic gentleman who was across the hall from me and who was struggling with the English language. Dr. Miller continued speaking the patient in English which baffles me because he's supposed to be fluent in Spanish. He was so rude to the patient and spoke down to him. When the patient would try to speak Dr. Miller would silence him. A few minutes later Dr. Miller came across the hall to me. He was extremely impatient with me and would not allow me to speak while he was typing. As I was leaving I asked one of his staff members what was wrong with the Dr. and that I thought his behavior was very odd. She laughed and said, "Everybody says that." "Really?" Well, that was my first and last appointment with the strange little man. I felt so sorry for the patient who was in the room across the hall from… me. There was no communicate. I'm sure the patient did what the Dr. ordered since he was there for a study. I believe patients go to him because they are anxious to get better and they have hope that his experimental studies will help them. So sad.

Dr. Sam Miller is by far the most rude and unprofessional physician I have ever encountered. He is condecending, rude, immature and extremely arrogant. Yes, he will tell you ALL about his education at Mayo, but what good is an education with terrible bedside manners and poor people skills. Hence, his noticeable staff turnaround. You cannot speak a word until he is completely done looking at his computer, off his (sometimes personal) phone calls, or concentrating on anything other than your visit. Additionally, he is extremely cohersive when enrolling participants in his clinical trials, but claims to follow all the regulations. Do yourself a favor and save your time, money and avoid being insulted.
