Dr. Sam Taliaferro

Sam Taliaferro is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a passion forsupporting those who find themselves struggling with the demands that accompany the humanexperience. Sam’s previous 13 years of experience has afforded him diverse trainingin various settings including community-based care in both Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)and private practice, as well as facility-based care in both medical and psychiatric hospitalsystems. Sam specializes in working with individuals who feel as though they are in a rut oroverwhelmed by the burden of external expectations. Sam strives to support individuals with re establishing existing skills while also adding a few tools to the toolbox. Sam’s approach is to encourage individuals not to fear limitations, but embrace them with theintention of promoting personal growth.
