I waited a week in extreme pain. When i made the appointment I told them I didn't have insurance on the phone. I finally get to my appointment. thankful for the impending relief and they tell me they don't take cash payments!! What morons. I've never heard of a doctor in my life that didn't take non insurance patients. And why? Because they overcharge insurance companies, more profit. Thanks a lot Dr. Sam.

Not very friendly. Maybe just a bad day

My doctor friend recommended Dr. Sam to me years ago. I entrust my care and my family's care to no one but him. His staff are professional and caring . Dr. Sam has an excellent bedside manner that is had to find with other physicians. Many of my physician friends are his patients.

I really like this doctor, but his office is chaotic and the girl at the counter very rude....I have been going to see this doctor for 3 years now, but am changing because of the office staff and the inability to get an appointment to see the doctor without a 6 week wait.

I can recommend Dr Ratnayake with absolutely no reservations--he is The Best. He was described by another reviewer as "kind, considerate, excellent diagnostician". That's such a perfect description that I wish I had said it first.

I have had such great experiences with Dr. Sam and his staff over the years that my entire family now sees Dr. Sam, as well as many of their friends and co-workers, even though they all live over an hour away from Bakersfield.Is is such a wonderful feeling knowing that your entire family is in such good hands.
