Dr. Samantha Lyn Boroughs, MD

I have been under Dr. Boroughs care for over 6 six years she has always been not only spot on for what I need but dialogues with me about options and takes the time to explain each option, advantages & disadvantages. In this word of fast & furious, I feel the home town doctor with Dr. Boroughs, perhaps that is why I fly all the way from Okinawa, Japan when I am leave to get my fluids, vitals, etc. checked. Top notch doctor, exceptional person.

I think Dr. Boroughs is misunderstood by a lot of people. I believe she is introverted and shy. I also believe she is very thorough and possibly a little over cautious. Personally, I would rather err on the side of caution. She's an internist so that explains the why. I think Dr. Boroughs is an excellent doctor. I have been a patient of hers for the past two years. Every since we moved to Columbus.

Wait time is one hour with no one in the office. She knows little and just refers you to another doctor. Can be very abrupt. She doesn'r understand that we are paying her salary. I have since changed doctors and have been shocked at the difference in knowledge, kindness, follow up and a reasonable wait time. I wouldn't refer Dr. Boroughs to a high school biology student.

I have been a patient 4 years. Don't waste your time. And believe me she does waste your time. You will wait over an hour to see her. She can't put symptoms together and form a disgnosis. She can only go over lab results this year compared to last year. Don't bother to call and ask for any kind of medicine. You will be denied. I was

Would never recommend to anyone. Too slow very unsure of herself .No patients yet had to wait while she plays on computer. Didn't want to help me at all. Always oder hundreds of dollars of blood work, doesn't want to help with problems she didn't diagnose and she is your primary physician. Staff is super. I will not go back or recommend to anyone run the other way.

I have been with her about two years. She was ok to start with but as her practice has grown she has become sloppy with reading labs and has missed several problems. She fails to order the correct labs such as Aic for diabetes. Which is a big deal for a diabetic. Really she is not much good except to refer you to a specialist for the problem you pay to see her for. She pushes "depression" drugs where they are not needed and becomes ill tempered when you don't agree with what she suggests. She has very little pharmaceutical knowledge and comes up with all kinds of crazy reasons why she can't refill your prescriptions. Her office staff are very nice and the reason I have stayed for so long. All in all I have struggled with her over things that I can look up on the internet and get better information. I have changed doctors and I could not recommend her.

I was very sick and waited in exam room so long before seeing her that I had to leave. I drove straight to another doctor's office and was immediately admitted into the hospital.

Dr. Boroughs has been the worst in mu experience. She has missed Critical problems. She is ok if you have been diagnosed by a previous doctor. She does blood work and provides medication as the blood work requires. But that is it

Exceptional doctor!! Highly reccomended. She really cares about her patients and takes time to really get to know you to give an accurate diagnosis.
