Dr. Samantha Bader Conrad, MD

I have been a patient of Samantha Conrad for nearly a decade, but the quality of care has declined significantly since she opened her own practice. Appointments have become rushed, facetime is minimal, and treatment recommendations increasingly feel profit-driven rather than patient-centered. My recent experience was the final straw and has caused me to question her professionalism and ethics as a physician. At my last appointment, Samantha personally injected filler under my eyes. From the moment I received the treatment, it was clear the filler had been placed too low, creating new creases and worsening the appearance of my under-eye area. I raised these concerns during the appointment and repeatedly afterward. I sent before-and-after photos and attempted to schedule a follow-up, but each outreach was met with excuses (it’s swelling, it needs time to settle, she’s unavailable, there are scheduling issues, etc). After more than a month, I finally secured an appointment. Before even… examining me, Samantha stated there was “no scientific evidence” that the filler could have caused the issues I was experiencing. I again offered to show the photos documenting the change, but she refused to look at them and argued with me about the results. Despite the visible differences and my clear dissatisfaction, she said she “considered the procedure a success” but could dissolve the filler if that’s what I wanted. She then left the room, and a nurse returned to inform me that correcting the issue would be an additional charge. When I asked to talk to Samantha, I was told I need to “pay for the treatment or not see Dr Conrad again.” I expressed my disappointment, agreed I would not be returning, and left the appointment—only to receive a bill afterward. As other reviewers have noted, Samantha does not take responsibility for unfavorable outcomes and instead treats them as additional revenue opportunities. There are many skilled, ethical medical professionals out there. Save yourself the stress, expense, and frustration, and seek care elsewhere.

Dr. Conrad is an excellent Doctor. I have been a patient of hers for over 10 years.

Dr. Conrad is simply amazing. She truly cares about her patients and carries out her work with an admirable mix of seriousness and compassion. She is highly recommended!

incredibly professional and knowledgable. very patient and responsive to my questions and concerns. i called with question about medicine and she called me right back. there was a problem with the pharmacy and insurance and she personally called both to make sure i got the medicine and that it was coveredvby insurance. the diagnosis and treatment were spot on (no pun intended). Have recommended her to several friends and family and everyone has thanked me for the great recommendation.

dr. conrad is an exceptional dermatologist! she is thorough, knowledgable, and kind. she actually called me after i had a procedure to see how i was feeling! her knowledge of cosmetic dermatology is excellent, but she has a very natural touch and aesthetic and does not try to push products or procedures. her staff is professional and the office is well-run. i trust her and would recommend her to anyone! she is great with adults and children as well.

I have seen Dr. Conrad several times over the past few years. Each time she has been attentive to my needs and concerns, has addressed all of my questions, and come up with treatment suggestions that I was comfortable with. She also has an incredibly pleasant demeanor and always clearly explained my various medical issues in a manner in which I could understand. Her office staff is also incredibly friendly and accommodating. I have a busy work schedule, but have always been able to find an appointment time that works. I highly recommend Dr. Conrad for any dermatology issue.

Dr. Conrad was not on time, and she was very rushed and sped through my general dermatalogical examination. My impression was that she was in a hurry to meet with patients from whom she could make more money doing botox injections and more expensive treatments. In addition, before I made the appointment, I specifically asked the receptionist if the doctor was within my insurance network and was told that she was, but when I checked out I was told that insurance would not cover routine mole removal. I would NOT visit this doctor again.
