Dr. Samantha Sattler, MD

Find another doctor. Dr. Sattler is impersonal, does not engage with you, and only wants to push medication. The only thing she did during my physical was listen to my breathing and prescribe meds. At the end of my appointment she simply told me I was done and walked out of the room. No bedside manner whatsoever. Healthcare is a customer service industry and this customer will searching for another provider. She needs to retire!

Sad excuse of a doctor. Went in to see this doctor after having chest, nasal congestion, and a general unwell feeling for over 2 weeks. My normal GP, who is excellent and detailed, was unavailable. This lady looked in my nose and said it was inflamed, listened to my chest and said it was fine, and then sent me on my way. She also stated that I don’t look sick. I felt as if I was back in grade school faking an illness and trying not to get caught. She honestly spent a couple minutes with me at most. One week later symptoms still did not go away and I was diagnosed with flu type a. I will be following up with this complaint to corporate for such an incompetent doctor.

So I have struggled with an extremely intense inflammatory disease for 10 years. I was 16 and Dr. Sattler was my primary at the time. Well because I was young and dumb I had no clue anything about the Dr. World. She told me there was nothing she could do for me and she didn't even diagnose me with the disease. Extremely lacking of empathy. Unfortunately I believed her. I was forced to go to her several times for issues regarding this disease and she literally told me it was GROSS and she was grossed out by it. Had I recieved better medical care this disease would not have continued to spread. I should have immediately been recommended to a dermotologist. I should have had tests ran on me. She didn't even TRY to help. All she said was there was nothing that can be done. Now 10 years later It is now in several areas and will affect me for the rest of my life because she did not care. It would not have spread like that if she was proactive. She pretended there was no treatment when in… reality there are SEVERAL forms of treatment. I wish I had not been so young and naive it truly breaks my heart. She has ruined my life with her lack of knowledge. Please seek care elsewhere!!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Sattler for many years but I dread going to see her now. There is always some sort of issue with the office staff or billing. She will never talk price for services in the office, passes off any of these issues to her office staff, and refuses to return a simple phone call unless it is a medical question. Mostly she will just send a repsonse via their app for medical issues. As a physician she is nice and pleasant when you see here in person. She is not an independent doctor and is an employee of SSM. As an employee of SSM, she does take every opportunity to upsell you services within the SSM network. This is instead of handling management of your health herself. As I mentioned before she will refuse to return your call and will not deal with any issues such as incorrect billing or over charges. I just went in recently for my yearly visit, was charged for services I didn't receive and was sent a bill for the visit at an increased price after I had… already paid in advance before I seen her. It has been over two weeks and she refuses to return my call and email herself even though I have made multiple requests to speak directly to her. It isn't the first time, actually it this has been the typical experience for several years now. She is a nice in person, I hate to leave after this long but I am looking for a new regular family doctor now. I simply can't have this much time sucked out of my life over a simple office visit evert time I see her.

She’s a drug pusher, if you get your Cholesterol down the healthy way not with stats it makes her very angry!! Somethings wrong with this picture!

If you’re looking for intelligence and compassion in a doctor keep looking. This Dr misdiagnosed my Syringomyelia for TWO years and basically told me that I didn’t want to get better and there’s nothing more she could do for me!! Unbelievable!!

Dr. Sattler has been very attentive. I chose her to because I needed someone who cared enough to check for interactions among my various medications.

Doctor Sattler is the primary physician for all three of my children and she always does an excellent job taking care of them! She always spends a lot of time with my kids when they have appointments and she has a great bedside manner. Doctor Sattler really cares about her patients - she even called me after hours to see how my son was doing when he had pneumonia recently.

My husband and I have both been to see Dr. Sattler - neither he, nor I, felt she truly seemed to care about why we were there. Staff was pleasant and I could always get an appointment quickly, but Dr. Sattler didn't seem very personable, or extremely knowledgeable. I went to see her due to heart irregularities and a near-fainting spell. After initial tests seemed to be "regular" she handed me a pamphlet on stress and sent me on my way. That was two years ago and though my symptoms have changed somewhat, I still have related issues so I am beginning the search for a new doctor who seems to care about finding the root of the problem.

It was a waste of time! I was there for a physical and it was my first visit....she didn't do anything but ask me questions about my sinuses. Didn't even request routine blood work. She seemed very unsure of herself.
