Dr. Samantha R Schulze, PhD

I really appreciate the reviews written here. I was a patient of Samantha’s for 5 years and left about four years ago for a couple reasons but mostly because it started to feel like a chat session. I didn’t feel like she really got to the root of the problem. I recently got to the root of my issues myself. This made me wonder about her so I looked her up. I’m not surprised to see these reviews about Samantha. She always told me to take a shower, go for a walk or breathe. That was not the problem, Samantha!

She sits in a chair and repeats the same tactics over and over. She will not truly help you explore your mind, your thoughts and help you get to the root of your issues. She will however bore you with the same advice over and over. Oh and she will advise you to take a shower or go for a walk if you’re feeling anxious. She’s a hack

She is not in tune with family needs and lacks the ability to see larger picture problem solving. Her advice is remedial and often times does not solve whatever issues you are dealing with. I find her approach to be a band-aid or quick fix that does not get to the true root of the problem. She will insert herself as a pseudo parent to her adolescent patients making them feel as if they must seek her approval before they can move forward. If you're looking for a good therapist for your children please look somewhere else. Ms. Schulze is condescending, unaware, and lacks professionalism when it matters most.
