Samara Palacio Cardenas

3 minutes ago I first met Dr. Cardenas about 16 1/2 years ago at the hospital after giving birth to my second child. I went to her office for my daughter’s first appointment and I too waited over an hour. I got up and was ready to walk out, until a parent of another patient advised me to stay. She said she worked at Anaheim Regional as a nurse and she affirmed that Cardenas was one of the best pediatrician around. Obviously, I stayed and have not regretted it for a single moment. She is an awesome pediatrician! She is no nonsense and straight to the point. I also had my oldest daughter switched to Cardenas. She was under Cardenas’ care until she turned 18 years of age. My youngest continues under her care. The staff, Yvette, Jessica, and Monica too are all amazing! Love them all!

Great awesome doctor! My family has been with her for 32 years! I myself only 20 years. So we consider Dr Cardenas as family.

Dr Cardenas came highly recommended by my OB. And with my first son, she was great, well other than the LONG waits. But when my second son came along he had delays. Every time I mentioned the delays she said I was comparing him to my older son and dismissed me. Two years ago we moved to Colorado where we have been getting much better treatment and last week my youngest son was officially diagnosed with Autism. Early intervention would have really helped, but I was ignored and now he's 8. Very disappointed.

impossible to reach her by phone, terrible follow-through from both her and her staff, I had 2 visits to her office and both times she felt the need to lecture and enforce her idea's where it was not necessary. Did not want to cooperate in creating a more friendly vaccine schedule
