Samina Ahmed, MD found biology fascinating at an early age, combined with her love to help others, guided her path towards medicine. Struck by the enthusiasm of a child to learn, drew her towards pediatrics. She believes in creating strong relationships with her patients and families helping them grow into healthy, happy and confident adults. Dr. Ahmed has been with TriHealth since 2006. Prior to joining TriHealth, she practiced in Massachusetts in a teaching hospital. She loves being part of a team that strives to work with families to get and keep patients healthy. Dr. Ahmed focuses not only on physical well being but also on mental well being of all her patients. She emphasizes to all the new parents the importance of 5 Cs when they are looking for a pediatrician: Compassion, Connection, Communication, Care and Collaboration. She is particularly interested in nutrition and obesity and uses her unique motivational interviewing skill to change her patients' approach towards healthy …life style.
