Dr. Samina Ismail, MD

When I arrived for my first appointment I was not given any paperwork to fill out. I then saw the Physicians Assistant and she asked great questions and we had a good discussion. Then I saw Dr Ismail and I explained I was new to the area and gave her photos of my 6 prescriptions that I have been taking. She did not like the ones I was taking and said she would make some changes. I left with a sample blood pressure medicine. I also scheduled my follow up for the next Monday. That afternoon her office calls and said they need my prescriptions. I explained that I gave them to Dr. Ismail. They then said I needed to schedule a follow up. I explained I had already done so. I arrive 5 minutes early for my Monday appointment at 9:00AM. I waited for over 30 minutes until Dr. Ismail comes in. She comes into the room three times each time was less than 3 minutes. She explained my blood pressure is high and my A1C. She then writes all of my prescriptions down. and sends me on my way. … She seemed very distracted and impatient. I go to the pharmacy and realize one medication is missing. I call the office today and she explains I have to do a follow up. I said I already did one. Then I am told I have to come see her for this medication. I explained to Dr Ismail I had been without my medication for several weeks. I am having side effects of not taking it. All she is concerned with is me setting follow up appointments one a week. On top of all that they cannot print a copy of my bloddwork results because their printer is broken. why would you not have more than one printer? I do uotknow what the issues in that office are but it is very unorganized and unprofessional. They take all of the patient notes on little pieces of scrap paper and Dr. Ismail does not remember anything you tell her.

The excellent attributes of this practice are so numerous--from having Saturday hours to the incredible ease of getting seen the same day. They employ a thoughtfully unique way of establishing genuine, caring relationships with each patient and each family. In fact, being a patient of this practice for several years now, I must share that from the very start I was made to feel like family. I really appreciate how they demonstrate no "cookie cutter" mentality, and cater to the express desires of each patient with utmost respect. I almost hesitate to give them a good review--as I wouldn't want it to produce an overcrowded waiting room! They are wonderful, actually...

I have been seeing Dr. Ismail for at least six years. She always takes the time to let me know that I matter, and that my feelings are important. I feel blessed and cared for in a very special way. I would recommend her to anybody!!!!!!!

Dr Ismail takes the time to listen and understand your pain and concerns affecting your life. She provides a higher level of understanding of the medicines and procedures she prescribes. Dr Ismail's staff are warm and inviting. They promptly send your prescriptions, call you for test results, and rely information to Dr. Ismail.

If you are looking for a doctor who CARES, and will go the extra mile for you then Dr. Ismail is the one. Before going to her I was being seen by another doctor who just could get it done. I went to Dr. Ismail the first visit she knew what was wrong the worked up a treatment plan. She takes the time to talk to you and make sure you are clear on what she think. JUST THE BEST!!!!!!!!

Wonderful doctor highly recommend her very thorough and great bed side manner.

The location is a little small but has a homey feel. The front desk has a lovely smile and I was told that the location is only temp. I was treated so well and the staff was very understanding and helpful. The doctor is great she knows what she's talking about and she knows her medications religiously. I recommend this to everyone

II LOVE this doctor. She is competent, polite, intelligent , knows what she is doing, and very compassionate . She has been my doctor for the past 7 years. I am free of severe allergies which I had suffered from for over 20 years because of her competence to order the right tests. Although , I had been a patient at Captial Physicisn Group for the past 20 years, I transferred my records to Dr. Ismail and consider myself a very lucky patient. Highly recommend.

Dr.Ismail is one of the best doctor , professional and intelligent. she left last practice Capital physician group due to installment of covert camera's in rooms, i am so happy she left as she herself is wonderful but staff there woo that's different story , no call return doesn't matter how many times u call, lady at front desk seems she just woke up and came to work, another one seems like she is underinfluence and when you talk to their manager,she has this stupid look on her face and seems clueles

Not worth my time or money. She is ALWAYS late seeing her patients. Schedules appointments, and then comes breezing in the office an hour later, like she is on time. Will not return calls, and the office is closed any random day, for what reason? Would never see her again.
