Dr. Samip Sanjay Patel, MD

Never had vitals taken by nurse before visit. Dr. Patel sat in a chair and never examined me. He is very arrogant and had no info regarding my health except for old info even though his office received my faxed info 3 months ago. 3 months ago was his first available opening. Worst bedside manner ever. Not knowledgable in movement disorders or tremors. Waste of my time.

This doctor is terrible. The staff is even worse. They do not answer messages on my chart nor do they return phone calls regarding your care. The only way to get an answer is to make an appointment but I will be searching for a new neurologist.

Dr. Patel walked into our apptment and proceeded to give me a prepared speech about his life in India. There was no neurological exam. He ordered an MRI, but it turned out I couldn't schedule the MRI until he ordered 2 blood tests. I contacted him several times and he finally ordered the blood tests, though he didn't let me know that he had ordered them. I found out that he doesn't always answer email messages. I cancelled a subsequent appointment.

I had an absolutely awful experience. I could not get a call back with results from the doctor. The office staff lied about putting messages in. The were rude and very unprofessional. They said they did not have the results when I had them in my hands, so I know that was false information. I tried getting my medical records but they could only mail them because the doctor had not spoken with me, which was the whole problem to begin with! I asked to speak with a practice manager and had to leave another message. This is the worst office I have ever been too.

I had a terrible experience with Samip Patel. He misunderstood and mixed up in his mind a question I asked about my condition with comments I made about the treatment. He cut me off, rather than ask me to explain what I meant, and made a derogatory comment about his wife always needing to be corrected and not understanding the use of certain phrases, as well. This left me with the impression he doesn't think much of women. He then left the exam room to look for sample meds to give to me and on the way back, he stopped to rant to his medical staff about how stupid I was and wondered how hard was it for me to understand what needed to be done for treatment. All of this was said loud enough for me to overhear, as well as, anyone else in any of the other examination rooms. I walked out. I felt violated and humiliated. ZERO STARS - Totally unprofessional.

Very rude staff

This doc will tell you exactly what he thinks and will spare you from unnecessary, risky procedures recommended by other providers. He takes his time and answers questions.

Horrible staff in Annapolis office.Rude ,mean office staff.If you want to get treated like dirt go visit them. When they dont want to help you they say go find another neurologist
