Dr. Samir Said Keblawi

I couldn’t recommend a Dr more than Dr Keblawi. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient, and always goes above and beyond to make sure you’re receiving top quality care. We’ve never had a pediatrician who has treated our kids with as much respect and care as he does, and we’re so thankful that we found him!

Dr Sam Keblawi has been the doctor to all 3 of my kids since birth. They are now 8, 10, and 12. He is absolutely wonderful. I’ve had to schedule with other providers when he is booked up and no one compares. He is attentive, caring , and easy going. My kids love him and feel so comfortable with him. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Keblawi is a very polite, professional and patient doctor. I always ask a TON of questions when I take my kids in and he always is very helpful and gives great advice. Best Pediatrician hands down.

Dr Keblawi is very friendly, but I feel too relaxed in getting to a solution to a on-going medical concern. My son is almost 18 months old, and I have brought him into the clinic 5-6 times for chronic diarrhea, and diaper rash. I have expressed my concerns about the on-going diarrhea and the family history of chrons disease. He has had chronic diarrhea for the last 6 months, despite diet modifications, and this last visit I requested that he do food allergy panel, which he obliged. He also ran other labs, and a stool sample, and told me that it would be mid-next week before I heard back from them, unless there was something urgent and he would call me. So the following week by Wednesday I hadn't hear anything. So I called to see if any of the labs were back. I had a nurse return my call and she said he had a low allergy to peanuts, and high allergy to dogs. But all his blood work looked good, no anemia, blood count was good, and that they were still waiting on the stool sample… results. they said to check back the next day. I called at 4 pm after not hearing anything back from them all day. No results, and they said the dr was in conference all week and would be back on Monday and I should hear something then. Monday went by, Tuesday went by and finally on Tuesday at 4 pm, I called to check back in. No return phone call. Wednesday morning I received a phone call stating that my son had some elevated labs and that we needed to go back in and have repeat labs drawn. I proceeded to ask what level and if I needed to be concerned. I was told it was the alk phos level and that it came back high (these labs were drawn 12 days ago), and we need to find out if it was an error and which part of the body was producing the elevated enzyme. Whether it be his liver or his bones. I had my husband take my son after work to have his labs redrawn. He got to the main rockwood lab and there were no additional labs entered. The secretary called and finally got his order. They drew the lab and the tech said it takes 24-48 hours for the results to come back. It has now been 5 days and I have yet to receive a phone call. On the Wednesday I did receive a call about the abnormal lab value. I asked if they would put in a request to see a pediatric gi dr. The request has yet to be put in. I am beyond frustrated. I have a consult on the 13th at another facility, I'm hoping I get some answers for my poor boy.

I think Dr. Keblawi has a nice staff and environment. I also think he is a considerate physician, but after 2 well check-ups with him, I have decided to look for a new physician. I only saw him for one sick child visit and all of the information he gave me could be found on google and wasn't the support or expertise I was looking for. At well-child visits, he doesn't, in my opinion, analyze children for their socio-development. My children are fine in this area, but I am having a third child and would like to see a physician that asks more questions and investigates beyond the basics. Also, I asked for a blood test along with a vaccination from their nurses by phone and when I arrived, they weren't sure which vaccination they needed (although, I did). And, they didn't do the blood test because they didn't have the order. They told me they would follow up with Keblawi and phone me, but they never did. I unfortunately am leaving the practice.

I have a 2 1/2 and 4 month old and before I had my second kid I decided to look into pediatricians. My daughter was seeing a family doctor before and I felt like I wanted more for her and my unborn son. The first visit for my son was a great experience. My husband came with. Dr Keblawi was professional shook our hands and introduced us to himself. Examined my son closely and was very informative about any questions and concerns I had. He was kind and helpful. My husband had to leave the room because our other child was r\cranky and when my husband came back the dr. explained everything to my husband that he told me so he knew what was said. I felt that was very professional and considerate of him. I never feel rushed when we have an appointment. He is pretty booked. I was very luck to have gotten both my kids to see him.
