Dr. S Dwight Vaught, MD

My brother went to Dr Vaught who diagnosed his throat cancer. I have been going to him for many years now myself and I am very satisfied with Dr Vaught, he is caring, explains everything in detail, office staff very helpful. I also had my hearing tested and got a hearing aid, the staff in that dept are wonderful also. Highly recommend.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Vaught. He was dismissive and misdiagnosed me. Thank god I listened to my gut and sought another opinion. What he told me were migraine headaches and not allergy or sinus related were actually caused by a septal spur. Ironically he ordered a sinus scan and told me it was normal which leads me to believe he never even looked at the images. Shame on him.

Great Doctor! Cares, takes his time with you! Answers all questions! Takes care of you! Can't judge a Dr by staff or building. He is excellent! I had a septoplasty with turbinate reduction sx & it's been great working with him

He has no bedside manner and in fact rude. Long wait in waiting area. Never went to him again.

This man has absolutely no bedside manner of compassion! Today when I went in I said I was there to have the scope up my nose into my throat. There are 3 family members who have died from throat cancer. I asked if the spray he was going to use would make my heart race and he said it could and then he refused to do the procedure. He told me that I was making his blood pressure go up. Nice professional comment. He also stated that he could tell from my voice that I didn't have throat cancer. Wow! No need for CTs or MRIs, just have Dr. Vaught listen to you and he'll know. I'm looking for a new Dr.
