Excellent physician & exceptional surgeon. Listened to me & answered all my questions. Surgery was the best experience ever. He took excellent care of me& made sure the hospital did too. Highly recommended. He found a precancerous adenoma & saved me from having colon cancer within 5 years. He is an absolute blessing. So grateful that he practices in this area. We need more drs like him. Will definitely recommend him to family & friends.

My adult daughter went to see him because she cut her foot on a tent stake. Her pinky toe was extremely purple and cold to the touch. He ended up pulling her toenail off in surgery and saying that was the fix. Less than two weeks later, he amputated her pinky toe and said the pathology report showed only that it had died, no cause was given. He has no idea and now she's afraid she may lose more, thanks to his carelessness. When he removed the stitches, her skin didn't adhere like it should have and the would tore right back open. They were forced to pack her foot, every 12 hours with solution and cotton gauze pads until it healed from the inside out. She could have gotten by with a much less dramatic scar, had he listened to her when she told him it had ripped open. He blew her off and every time she spoke to him about the pain she was in prior to surgery etc, he acted like she was exaggerating - yet her pinky toe literally DIED on her foot causing extreme pain to the nerves… and surrounding bone and tissue.

Excellent doctor very knowledgeable and professional. He explained and answered all my questions step by step in regards to my laparoscopic appendectomy. It was an unexpected scary experience by I felt more at ease once he spoke with me and my family. Fantastic doctor, I highly recommend to my friends and family. There aren't enough stars to give.

I took my son to AFC in Pell City. My son had an extreme cough, wheezing, and a fever. He stated that he is ALLERGIC to cows milk! Wow! No, my son had symptoms of bronchitis. No blood test, no allergy test, no X-ray..... tested negative for flu and strep. This Dr. has lost his marbles; so he prescribes cough meds, antibiotics, albuterol, and a decongestant. My son is in his double digits, age wise. Stick to surgery! I pray he doesn’t perform brain surgeries.

You were the greatest gift to mark Sanders. He loves you so dearly. Thank you. He passed on 2-11-19 with rare thyroid cancer

I saw Dr. Harden at American Family Care for a sore throat, cough, and high fever. My wait in my exam room was ungodly long. My strep test came back negative. I asked him about the possibility of my strep test being a false negative. He said it’s highly unlikely and if I cut dairy out of my diet, I would no longer get sick like this or have migraines. Now..I have family members in the medical field. For him to tell me that my strep test being a false negative is unlikely..I knew right then he was full of it. He continued to tell me that I have an undiagnosed dairy allergy that gave me the bacterial infection I had. He doesn’t listen. I’ll NEVER be seen by him again.

I saw Dr. Harden at American Family Care and it was the worst experience I've had there. He did not listen to what I was saying, he kept interrupting me. I came in with nausea/chest pain and he didn't even do a physical exam before telling me this was a result of my anxiety. When I started asking questions, he said if I would cut dairy out of my diet, I would not have anxiety or migraines. Even the medical assistants were telling me how bad he is. I will not see him again.
