I had seen Dr Koo a few years ago to redo a shoulder replacement previously done by another physician that was not done correctly. He did a reverse implant with the outcome being better than I ever hoped. He was very personable with the staff being excellent. I am now going to have him do the other shoulder. Firefighting does not agree with one’s body! Thank you to all involved

Dr. Koo recently performed surgery on my left shoulder. From before the surgery through our final check in post surgery, he and his staff were thoughtful, professional, and they demonstrated incredible expertise. Overall, exceptional service and a very successful procedure. I highly recommend him.

Dr Koo took his time explaining his diagnosis and next steps without making us feel like we were holding him up from seeing his next patient. He was a good listener and had a thoughtful and wholistic approach to next steps.

I’m 73 so not exactly prime for a rotator cuff / sub scapular repair, but it went great. I had serious trepidation about doing the surgery, but for me it has turned out to be way better than expected. One thing I did do prior to the operation that may have helped, was worked my shoulder like a fiend so I went into the surgery in very good condition. My shoulder was really giving me fits, couldn’t sleep, I’m a BJJ player and it really degraded my ability to go full speed. I not completely sure I’ll be back to 100% but I’m so much better than prior to the operation. There is always an element of luck when you do something like this, but I also think that Dr Koos expertise helps cut the odds in my favor. I have total faith in his team, and his skill. I have already encouraged friends to go to him for shoulder problems.

I honestly had the fastest and most efficient doctor’s appointment of my life today — and I mean that in the best possible way. I was brought back to the exam room at 1:57 PM, immediately taken for shoulder X-rays, and the doctor came in shortly after. He was professional, thorough, and didn’t waste time. He did a focused physical exam, listened to my concerns, explained what he was seeing, and ordered an MRI right away so we can get answers quickly. And here’s the wild part — I was literally walking back to my car at 2:06 PM. By the time most doctor’s offices are still making you stare at anatomy posters wondering if you’ve aged in the waiting room, I was already done and headed home. The entire staff was organized, efficient, and kind. It’s rare to find a medical office that respects your time this much while still making you feel cared for. Extremely impressed.

Dr. Koo is a rockstar. I’ve had surgeries with him on my right hand left shoulders and I have more strength today than I did 20 years ago. I’m very grateful.

Great Dr. Hope we have the same success with the left shoulder as we did with the right.

DR.Koo is great it been four months since surgery and my shoulder is bad to normal.
