This is not a review. This is a WARNING. Hold onto your wallet. Sam will lie to your face while he steals from you.

Samuel is an unethical person and works the health care system to his advantage to basically steal from insurance companies. He charged over $2,000 for an initial office visit because he performed "surgery" during the 10 minutes he was in the room. He ordered a sleep study at a lab that he owns. Upon returning for the results, I waiting 1 1/2 hours before he came in and spent 5 minutes with me and challenged me on whether I was breathing loud an night or actually snoring. The most rude and condescending human who should retire and not be allowed to practice ripping people off any longer. The final result of my 5 minute office visit, was to go have another sleep study....at the same lab he owns! Guess what, he charges $5,000 per sleep study. This guy is not a Dr. he is a crook. Stay away folks.

The most unethical doctor I have ever met. He is a monster who is willing to lie to make a buck. Run for your life.

Dr. Samuel Alan Mickelson should be investigated by the medical review board for his unscrupulous business practices. He is very knowledgeable in his medical field, but he uses it as a shield for a more sinister practice of performing unnecessary surgery on unsuspecting patients. I visited his office at the Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Dr Mickelson at the time was the only doctor in the Atlanta area approved to install the Inspire obstructive sleep apnea treatment. Instead, he wanted to perform several hideous surgeries as removing my tonsils and nasolabial flap, fix a deviated nasal septum that never has given me any problems and surgically remove areas in my throat to create a bigger opening. Dr. Mickelson ignored my request for the Inspire treatment and insist that I go with his horrendous recommendation. This made me very suspicious that he was more interested in cutting me open for profit than helping my sleep apnea with an FDA approved medical device. This kind of… heinous medical treatment should never be allowed and dealt with very firmly. Dr. Mickelson should be investigated by the Northside Hospital medical review board for his unscrupulous business practices.

Please do your homework and find a different Dr. He will lie, cheat and steal. He is a crook and the office is a scam. There are other excellent Docs in Atlanta. Go to one of them and do not torture yourself by seeing Mickelson.

My son and I have been patients of Dr Mickelson for years. He performed nasal surgery on me which went well. He worked for years with my son who had to have his tonsils removed at 6 due to severe issues . After surgery he was great, and no longer snored like an old man he also put tubes in his ears to resolve constant ear infection. These surgeries went well as well. He is short but he knows what he’s doing and once you realize that he’s very nice and a dr we trust to do a great job

My entire experience with this extremely rude and arrogant doctor and his equally rude staff was a total nightmare. I felt like a “mark” to bleed for profit by recommending tests, surgery and medical supplies I did not need. Stay FAR away from Dr. Michelson and warn your friends and family too!

I had a very positive experience with my initial visit to Advanced EN&T. I was referred to this practice by my family doctor due to persistent sore throat. Dr. Mickelson did a very thorough exam including a painless endoscopy. I had many questions and Dr. Mickelson took time carefully answering my queries and concerns with clear explanations. My sense is that he is a very competent doctor. I experienced no problems with any of the staff. My wait was short and everyone was polite and helpful.

He cannot be trusted. He will lie, cheat and steal to get more money. He has no ethics and no integrity. He just wants your money and he has many methods to rob you. There are many other doctors you can see. Be smart and go see a different doctor at a different practice. I feel like an idiot for ever being his patient.
