Dr Samuel Pitts

Having spend my entire 30 years of work in the medical field from extended care to psychiatry and contractual prison health care I am somewhat qualified to judge care and the provider. Dr Pitts is a breath of fresh air, he actually listens without being condescending. He did my hip replacement at University Hospital on an outpatient basis with local anesthesia at my request. The entire experience was easy, I went home without pain and recovered with doing PT at home on my own. Now I am dealing with a bone on bone arthritic knee and am very reluctant to have surgery only because knee replacements are still hit and miss successful. I am also not willing to travel to Waynsboro for surgery, a one hour drive from my home.

Highly recommend. Very courteous staff, as well as, Dr. Pitts. He is very knowledgeable and patient. Does not rush you out. Very prompt with their call backs to schedule procedures.

Felt welcome from check throughout the completion of my visit. This was my first time seeing Dr. Pitts for myself , he made me feel so comfortable to discuss my issue with him. He listened and he asked questions, I am so happy to be a patient of Dr. Samuel Pitts

From the ease of making an appointment to check in process to X-rays to check out I give 5 stars. Dr Pitts’ staff and Dr Pitts take time to explain things. I never feel rushed or dismissed. Dr Pitts takes time to answer all questions and truly cares about outcomes. I highly recommend him.

It is always good to see Dr. Pitts even though it’s for a ailment, he down to earth and talks to you like he knows you on a personal level.
