Dr. Samuel Scott Tapper, MD

My PCP referred me to Dr Tapper as a treat since both legs were such a mess from maternity, working in a die-manufacturing plant and retail sales. Even though I had previous treatment for DVT, I was so happy that Dr rapper could take me in . The staff was pleasant and efficient, The procedure had changed and updated . It took practically a whole year and wasn’t able to wear a bathing suit , or go in the pool / ocean. Does one know what it’s like when it’s 75 degrees and above out? But I did it for myself and as Dr Tapper said “just cleaning up Aisle 3 “ . I would recommend Dr Tapper for a job well done . Mission accomplished. Thank you so much !

Less than two minutes spent in the room, didn’t bother to read my ultrasounds, and MRI, didn’t ask if I had questions. I did ask how he knew my diagnosis without reviewing anything he said because “I’m a vascular surgeon”. ?? Seemed very arrogant and I am currently seeking a different vascular surgeon.

He's bad news.

Terrible place to seek the opinion of a vascular specialist. As a patient I felt belittled for seeking his expertise. He seemed annoyed to have wasted his time with me and barely did a physical examination. His manner of questioning me left me feeling as if I was defending myself as to why I was there. Truly baffling.

Dr. Tapper performed sucessful vascular surgery on my wife recently. While the full results of his work remain to be determined, I must commend him and his staff for their fine work and organization. My wife is home and recovering and everything is going just as Dr. Tapper outlined.

He saved my moms life. She had blocked carotid artery and was having ministrokes. He got her right into hospital and cleaned out the artery before it could happen again. Later I found out how lucky she was to get him. My friends dad had someone else and woke up with a stroke. Check him out before you or anyone in your family has vascular surgery.

Dr Tapper was my third (and last) vascular surgeon. I was originally referred to someone else and then someone else came in but neither one really fixed my problem. Dr Tapper redid all that and now my legs are great. I can walk and play golf whatever I want. What a relief. If you have vascular problems I would recommend that you call Nancy at his office and see Dr Tapper

I had a blood clot that was growing and blocking circulation to both legs. Dr. Tapper performed emergency surgery and saved both my legs and my life. I'm walking great 5 years later! He still follows me carefully with an ultra sound of the bypass graft every 6 months to a year.
