I became a patient of Dr. Wood when I was diagnosed with ITP several years ago. I was most impressed with how he explained this disease to me since I had never heard of it. He took a lot of time and effort to make his explanation simple. Also, he followed up with me to make sure I was taking my meds correctly and following all protocol. His efforts have put me in the stage of remission and I'm still seeing him on occasion to be safe. I recommend this doctor highly for his knowledge, his simplicity in explaining the unknown, and his kindness. I wish all doctors were like him.

As I come to the end of my five year treatment of cancer, now cancer free, I have nothing but extraordinary thoughts of this dear man! He is truly a friend and doctor to me and my family! At appointments he always asks about my daughter and granddaughters. Three years into my treatment my seven year old granddaughter was diagnosed with ALL leukemia, Dr. Wood spent an hour with me (without appointment) to discuss her treatment and care!
