Dr. Sanaa Qamar, MD

As a first-time mom, I truly couldn’t be happier with Dr. Qamar. From day one, I’ve felt completely supported and reassured. She is always on time, never rushes through appointments, and is incredibly gentle and thoughtful with my daughter. She takes the time to listen, answers every question thoroughly, and provides guidance that is clearly evidence-based, which gives me so much confidence as a parent. She is also extremely responsive through MyChart, which means the world when you’re navigating parenthood for the first time. I’ve seen some past reviews mentioning scheduling, and I feel it’s important to note that physicians do not control scheduling systems, so that feedback is more appropriately directed to the practice rather than the doctor herself. Since Dr. Qamar is now at Rush, scheduling has been very easy, flexible, and has not been an issue at all. I feel very lucky to have found her and would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate… pediatrician.

Dr. Qamar is knowledgeable, thorough, and provided a thorough examination of my child. Her bedside manner and warmth with a young patient population is second to none. I would highly recommend her to other parents looking for a quality pediatrician!
