Dr. Sanaz Hariri, MD

I put off having a knee replacement because of the thought of pain and the time it would take to recover. I had the procedure 5 weeks ago and it is so much better than I anticipated. The pain was always in control, I was walking without a walker by week 2. I followed all the rules and recommendations about physical therapy. The team she uses are great. I can’t say enough great things about Dr Hariri.

Bad wxpierence for my family member

Dr. Hariri is an excellent Orthopeadic Surgeon. The surgery gave me little to no pain. Her concern on the follow up appointments are spot on. She has called me direct to address any concerns during me therapy. The rehabilitation has been fast and I am very glad I had Dr. Hariri perform my surgery. She will be the doctor that will replace my right knee when I am able to have it done. Thanks to Dr. Hariri and all the staff at El Camino Hospital.

Dr. Hariri is the most professional Physician I have ever had. She takes plenty of time to explain options In my case it was for a total knee replacement. Within a few days of my first appointment, surgery for scheduled 45 days out. Dr. Hariri explained in detail the procedure and what my estimated recovery time would be. She discussed the advantages of Physical Therapy and was most helpful in setting that up for me, both for in house and at a facility close to my home. She called my home the night prior to surgery to assure me that her staff was well prepared for my upcoming operation. Following surgery, she answered all questions and told me to call her at any time. I never felt rushed during appointments. She's a very understanding and compassionate Doctor as well as an excellent Surgeon. My knee is doing so well. I couldn't be happier.

Dr. Hariri, did my knee replacement surgery 3 months ago. The knee is almost back to normal. It feels so much better than before the surgery.My experience with Dr. Hariri has been better than I could have imagined.She went out of her way to put me at ease from my first visit on.My husband had already had both knees replaced, so this was a procedure thatI was already familiar with. She understood quickly that I just needed reassurance that my surgery would be fine.She absolutely exceeded any expectations I had. She is a compassionate Doctorthat understands how pain can impede recovery. She made sure that I never had any pain that would stop me from doing the things I needed to do to do in order to speed up recovery. At the same time she is very clear about your responsibilities to assist in your recovery.If you are anticipating any orthopedic surgery or need a Doctors care in this area,I would encourage you to become apatient of Dr. Hariri. She really is the best!

Further comments of previous rating. She did finally return my call. Claimed her staff had not informed her I was trying to get ahold of her. Perhaps I was a bit hasty in my initial review, as I cannot speak of her capabilities, her follow-up, or her bedside manner which are the more imprtant factors when considering a physician.

Dr. Hariri did not follow-up with me after the MRI she recommended I have. My wife was told a brief review of the findings and she told the Dr. to make sure and call me as I would have questions. I do have questions, but the Dr. never called me. I stopped by the office to request the Dr. call me, it never happened. I called about 2 weeks later with the same request, it still never happened. From what my wife understood of waht the Dr. said, the surgery she thought would help, would not. So I guess, unless there is money to be made, you don't exist!!

A respected friend recommended her to me with glowing reviews. I can only add my own glowing reviews. Friendly, accurate, outstanding diagnostic skills and virtually painless cure. She is the best!
