Dr. Sandeep K Thakkar

I was extremely disappointed with this Doctor whom I would rather called him a businessman. During the first time visit he spent literally under 10 min of his time. Most of the time was spent with his PA. During a second visit he spent about 15 min of his time, and when my dissatisfaction was mentioned about the time spent, he said that's how he runs his practice/ business, it's up to him how much time to spend with each person, people wait for an appointment with him 2-3 months (which is true, but not because he is so great, because there are not that many specialists available in this area and other, better doctors wait time is 4-5 months) and if I don't like his way go ahead and find someone else. And I did!!! Dr. Thakkar completely misdiagnosed the patient, prescribed a huge amount of medication with bad side effects for something that patient does not have. This doctor has an extremely high opinion about himself (after him I saw much more experienced and humble doctors who… correctly diagnosed the patient), and you do yourself a favor if you stay away from him.

I like him very much. He's very knowledgeable. I wish I lived closer than the 2 hour drive.

Great patient care and bedside manner. Very transparent . Responds to questions in a timely manner. Provides thorough assessments during each visit. I may live far from his office but I can sacrifice the drive for the excellent service! Highly recommended.

Dr. Thakkar spent only about 30 minutes with me. He did not take my concerns seriously, rushed through the motions of my appointment, answered what appeared to be a personal call in my appointment, and told me to change my diet and my quote un-quote illness will get better. He said that as if he doesn't believe my condition is real. Also it is extremely difficult to make an initial appointment.

Dr. Thakkar is the very best Doctor I have ever come accross. Thank you for being there for me and my family.
