Dr. Sandhya R. Karna, MD

Dr.Karna is an amazing pediatrician. She is freindly and thoughtful and answers all questions with time and tells me in terms I can understand! My kids love her.

Dr. Karna refused to give my children a school physical because she has issues with my not giving my children immunizations due to religious beliefs.

Dr. Karna is the best doctor that I could have picked for my kids. She is very attentive to all of our needs, gets us in as soon as she can including same day appointments. Dr. Karna always takes time with my daughters, and I never feel rushed out of her office. She is very sweet and soft spoken and the girls never have a fear of going to the doctor, they actually become excited when I tell them we are going. Since 2007, I have been taking my oldest daughter there and I have also referred at least 10 others who are in love with Dr. Karna too!!!

Dr karna has been my sons pediatrician for 7 years now and she is great at each visit. She doesn't rush and listens wonderfully (which is VERY rare to find a doctor who listens to their patients!). I highly recommend her. My boys love to see her because she is so nice and they are disappointed when she isn't their and has to see her replacement.

I have never met Dr. Karna. But my experience with her is terrible. I have been trying to get my son a pediatrician for the past six months (since his pediatrician retired). I called the first time and she was not taking new patients. They told me to call back and check in a couple of months. I did and they accepted him as a patient. I sent over his insurance card and gave them all of his information. they told me he was all set up and asked if i would like to make an appointment for him. I did not need to make an appointment for him yet. He was not sick i was just getting him a doc for when he would need it. Now he needs an appointment, he needs to go in for his 3 year check up. I called to get his records transferred over and set up an appointment and they had absolutly no record of him being a patient. I explained to the person on the phone what had happened and she said she would talk to the doctor and get back to me. She did and the doctor said that she will not accept him. She… has no room except for newborn babies, how does that make any sense? A newborn needs appointments all year long. My son needs them annually and on the rare occasion that he gets sick. This doctor screwed us over.

I have taken my oldest daughter to Dr. Karna's office for 4 years now and my youngest for one. We absolutely love Dr. Karna and her caring nature. She has a fantastic bedside manner with the kids and always takes her time during our office visits. Not once have I felt rushed. She is the kindest pediatrician I know and am so glad that we found her!
