Dr. Sandor Mecs, MD

Dr. Mecs started my appointment off by essentially calling me stupid because I didn't understand why he was referring to me as a pedagog, saying "You don't know what that is, that's scary." He did not explain the results of my ultrasound to me at all and did not bother to listen about my pelvic pain or other symptoms I have been having. Instead he nonchalantly told me it was a hernia and to see another doctor. In addition to being rude and dismissive to me, he was also very rude to his student making the remark, "Oh and you think you want to be a doctor?!" before laughing at her. She had better bedside manners than he did, asking if I was ok and showing me the exit after he just walked out of the room without saying anything. Dr. Mecs was dressed unprofessionally, looked greasy, and had his hair in a messy pony tail.I thank god that he did not do a pelvic exam because I don't think I would have allowed him to based on his appearance alone. Overall, he was so rude I left in… tears. I do not recommend seeing this man.

I had a wonderful experience with having Dr meds as my doctor when I was pregnant with my first child. I felt that he always was thorough in explaining everything I needed to know with my pregnancy. He was compassionate, made me feel comfortable around when I was nervous. Also had a sense of humor when needed to cheer me up at times. I was very nervous towards the end of my pregnancy and he took the time to assure me that it was normal and everything would be ok. I'd recommend anyone that's looking for a great doctor / and or gynecologist to dr. Mecs. I'm currently trying to have another child and dr. Mecs will be who I go to when that time happens. I'm thankful for having him as my doctor and made one of the most important times in my life wonderful to look back on.

I had been a patient of Dr Mecs since I was a teenager. He saw me through 4 difficult pregnancies and several surgeries. I had confidence in him and respect for him. He would often joke around and while it was not always appropriate, he was funny. Last year I went to see him and his comments were downright hurtful and vulgar. I never thought I would have a bad word to say about him, but in the past few years he seems to not care what he says and how it impacts his patients feelings. I found a much better doctor and wish I would have left Dr Mecs sooner. His vulgar comments and seriously rapid change in appearance dont add up. Something has gone wrong with this man.

Inappropriate and rude. Do not waste your time on this "doctor" he was useless!

Love this doctor and this practice!! Dr. Mecs delivered my second child. My husband and I could not be more satisfied. He was great in delivery, and his manner was amazing. Funny at times, serious when needed, and very encouraging during birth! I would highly recommend him!

I am extremely impressed and satisfied with this doctor's treatment of me being pregnant with a condition requiring medication my other doctor didn't feel safe to continue prescribing without his recommendation. He was very kind and listened to my issues as well as talking them over with me in a professional manner. I highly recommend this doctor/practice to any pregnant woman seeking a high level of courteous, professional, personable care.

I'm embarrassed that I did not report him for his inappropriate comments 3 years ago. He said he was surprised that I needed birth control with how tense I was. I'm never comfortable there, but I go, and it is normally over quickly with the other Dr. without any comments on my physical tenseness and definitely no rude comments about being surprised I need birth control.

This physician is seriously lacking on his bedside manner. He made me extremely uncomfortable and the appointment that I had with him yesterday will be my last. I have a disability and he made inappropriate remarks about my insurance coverage that were extremely condescending. I was in his office for a total of 60 minutes and he spent no more than 5 min. with me, during which he barely acknowledged me and mainly talk to his medical student. I do not recommend him.

He is the best.

I highly recommend!! I love this doctor, he listens, he cares why your there, and he trys to fix your problem and if he cant he contines until he finds a solution! And hes very funny and serious when he has to be!!Truely awesome doctor!!
