Dr. Sandra Bogota-Angel, MD

I was very disappointed with the interaction with Dr. Bogota-Angel. First of all I could hardly understand her broken English. The information she gave me about my condition was not correct. The medication she prescribed for me was very expensive. I could have used a much less expensive medicine but was not given the full explanation I needed to get it. Either I didn't understand what she was saying or she just didn't know what she was talking about. I was in a very stressed state and embarrassed because of what she told me. Because of the information she gave me about my condition I notified another person to bring awareness of a problem that didn't exit. I was humiliated for no reason. I was properly informed by another Doctor of the bad information Dr. Angel gave me. I don't know if I will ever go back to the office she works in because of this. Even though I would never use her services again. It is still a painful episode which I am trying to get over.

After waiting 45 minutes I inquired how much longer it would be. I was told at least another 20 minutes. At this point I had to leave to make my pick up time for daycare. I understand that unexpected things can happen in a doctors office however I also believe that they should have respect for other peoples time. As soon as they knew they were running on a delay they could have told the people in the waiting room.
