Dr. Sandra Juriga, PhD

This doctor is horrible. I was denied disability benefits after she reviewed all of my history which includes childhood trauma, SA trauma, workplace trauma, trauma from having absentee parents who were drugged addicted not present and yet after going through my whole file said she thought the Independent Medical Examiner was exaggerating my claims meanwhile I’ve barely been able to function ever since I had a manic episode a few years ago for the first time and then again. This doctor clearly has no understanding of the word trauma. There was so much evidence, such as being involuntarily hospitalized in psych units because of mania and also breaking my wrists both within a week because of mania. Don’t trust this doctor. She clearly only cares about money. If it wasn’t for this woman I wouldn’t be wearing the same pants every day still for the past year. Thank you for helping deny my disability claim when you’ve never actually spoken with me and probably didn’t even read through my case… file cuz if she had she would’ve noticed a history of documented trauma. I was almost taken away by CPS in senior year because of parental neglect because the school threatened my parents cuz I didn’t go for like 2 months straight and no one cared meanwhile I was so depressed I was losing the will to live. So thanks a lot lady.
