Dr. Sandra Jean Murphy, MD

She was the worst drs visit ever she was so short and unconcerned … and didn’t address my concerns , it was my first visit with her and my LAST !

I am now in my latter years so I go for just wellness visits Dr. Murphy answered all my questions and has a nice staff.

I experienced my visit and time with Dr. Murphy as terrible . She was arrogant , haughty and unconcerned with any of my concerns for my health . Her attitude right when she sat down in the room with me was arrogance and I believe had already made up her mind that since I discussed thoroughly with her nurse . ( with my notes ) the problems I had experienced for years . That I dare would think I know more about my own body after 46 plus years than her a Doc. When she walked in and sat down in front of me the first thing I noticed was . Her arms folded in front off her. Across her chest . She did not come in that room to discuss , heal or help . She came in with an ego and attitude that she was more intelligent , educated and obviously one of those doctors who thought highly of herself only . She did not even the end prescribe even birth control . What I had asked for . I had to call back the next day and ask the nurse to send it in I wanted it . I was so happy to get to go to a doctor… (relieved to ) what a complete let down . She interrupted several times . It was a horrible experience and she has an awful attitude . Someone said that to me before I went and I thought ... I could you a good doctor I'll give her a chance . I'm sorry I did . Go back where you came from .

She would not make herself available for a phone consult.

Overall, I was pleased with my visit with Dr. Murphy. I did feel like she could have a little bit more of a bed side manner. I felt like she was kind of rushing through my appt because I was her last patient of the day & that bothered me a little. Other than that, she was very professional. Her front desk staff were very friendly and her medical assistant was also very sweet.

Do NOT use this woman as your OBGYN! She left Florida because of an alcohol problem, and she was horrible at ALL of my visits with her. My daughter was born with an infection that she caused. After my daughter was born, we were in the hospital over a week and not ONCE did she check on us.

I couldn't have asked for a more caring, competent physician then Dr Murphy. She took wonderful care of me during my pregnancy and delivery. She actually let me help deliver my own baby!!! It was AWESOME! Will definitely go to her for my next little miracle!!!

She took care of me during my last pregnancy and did my c-section. I thought that my care was outstanding.

Had a completely awesome experience. Took wonderful care of me throughout my pregnancy. Couldn't have asked for a better delivery experience. Recommend her whole heartedly

Out of the 3 visits at her office, I only saw her once for 10 minutes. She showed no compassion or caring and basically blew me off. Office staff is overburdened. Hard to get records from them, and NO call backs on test results. If you are leaning towards her, get an interview first!
