Very rude! Not welcoming. Unfriendly! Sadly, she did my delivery.

I give her 5 stars she delivered my daughter and my daughter was a Very Big Baby. Dr. Rappe is competent and caring and is an asset to have on your side when you are delivering!

I am actually shocked to read these reviews. I have delivered four children at Womencare and Dr. Rappe has delivered 3 out of 4. Mine were inductions so I had some control over which Dr. would deliver me depending on my induction date. I always tried to get Dr. Rappe. She is not bubbly (like myself) but she is kind, respectful, pleasant and most of all a great ob. She knows her stuff and takes her time with deliveries. My last son was born with the cord around his neck and was blue. She knew exactly what to do. She was calm and diligently delievered my boy. She reassured me that everything was fine. Our family is complete but if it was not I would again try to have Dr. Rappe deliver me. Delivery can be a scary thing and I always felt reassured knowing she knows exactly what to do especially when things don't go as planned. I will continue to see her as my gyn. I can't speak about the Abington Office but the front office staff in Willow Grove are great! I always look forward to seeing… Debbie and Diane on my visits.

First time I went t this practice I thought that she was rude and she treated me as if I was stupid. I would never ever go back. The ladies at the Abington office are rude just like she is. I would never go back. She must forget that her patients pay her salary and that she would treat them with manner and some respect!!!!

Like the first person, she was rude and condescending. I hoped being a younger doctor she would be easier to talk to, but she clearly has a lot more to learn in terms of being personable to her patients that might be nervous with first-time pregnancies, and all kinds of thing going on with a person's body they may not be familiar with. I have 3 more weeks to go in my pregnancy and I pray that she is not on call when I deliver.

Personal experience - with two serious situation at the office she was HORRIBLE to deal with. Rude, curt and condescending. I will never recommend her and will never go back to her.

I was referred to Dr. Rappe by my primary care physician. When I called to make an appointment, I was told that in order to schedule an appointment, I would need to give them a credit card number which would not be charged unless I did not show up for my appointment or I would need to send them a check in the amount of $50.00 which would be returned to me when I showed up for my appointment. I think this is ridiculous--much like a car rental. I don't know how good Dr. Rappe is, but clearly one of her main focus areas is on money.
