Dr. Sandra D Thorne, PsyD

I worked with Sandra in therapy over the course of many years. She is exceptionally intuitive and quite brilliant in recognizing the root cause of family dysfunction and mental health issues. Unlike other therapists, Sandra engages in a way where I didn’t feel like she was just endlessly listening. She is definitely more interactive in asking questions and more importantly…giving answers. I felt immediate gratification (AKA: my money’s worth) with practically every session. Sandra helped me learn how to take responsibility for my life. I will forever be grateful for her exceptional knowledge, straight forward approach and meaningful guidance. She is the OG of all therapists.

I had the report she completed reviewed by a forensic psychologist. The forensic psychologist had great concerns about her professionalism, ethics, and bias. I am requesting my money back, and will be pursuing how to file a complaint with the American Psychology Association. I hope other people NEVER have to go through what I did.

Sandra is unorganized, has no forward plan for patients, doesn't take notes, relies on you to update her. She does not build up relationships but quickly labels to the destruction of the family.

She is unorganized. She doesn’t keep track of what is said from meeting to meeting. Seems like she jumps from conclusion to conclusion without any productive advice. Happy to take your money. Often doesn’t remember meetings that were scheduled.

Is she really a psychologist? She was unprofessional and did not communicate well. Very disappointed and sure if she really is a professional. It was that bad. She insulted me and my own parents and in one meeting told me what she labeled me and did not listen.

Sandra met my wife and I to discuss our daughter. We left her office with both thoughtful and helpful insights into both our parenting as well as our marriage
