Dr. Sandra Farkouh Truebe, MD

Dr. Truebe was my childhood pediatrician from 5 years old all the way to 21 and she was amazing ! Always made me feel comfortable and cared for! When I was 13 I was diagnosed with cancer and she was the one who noticed it on me I love her so much 10/10 recommend ! I now have my own child and unfortunately don’t live in the area anymore but if I could she would 100% have been my first choice !

I believed Dr. Truebe was a great Doctor for the first few years of my child’s life. Then I noticed a pattern of unnecessary treatment, testing and referrals to specialists. My child is completely healthy and was poked and prodded for years, only to have tests come back normal and specialists tell us she is fine. These were for minor things, that many children experience, and did not need further investigation. Unfortunately, when I decided to switch my child’s doctor and cancelled appointments with Dr. Truebe’s office, they called Child Protectove Services to state neglect. The case was quickly dropped when CPS came to my home, saw my child thriving and verified she had a new doctor. Years later, my child still has a fear of going the doctor because of the excessive testing she experienced. We are very happy with our current pediatrician, who is thorough when necessary and does not instill constant worry.

I just submitted a bad review on another Pediatrician I was forced to see when Dr. Truebe was on vacation today and I wanted to take a minute to say how thankful I am that I found such a wonderful doctor for my son. I appreciate her even more now after a bad experience with another doctor in her office. She is so willing to take the time to listen to my questions and thoroughly explain the reasons for her answers. She never makes me feel like I'm overreacting or asking "silly" questions even though I'm a first time Mom. Lastly, I find her view on raising a child and all that goes into it very refreshing and laid back. She is very no nonsense in her answers to all my questions and makes me feel like I know what I'm doing when it comes to reading my child's nonverbal cues. I will NEVER go to another Pediatrician as long as she is in practice!
