Dr. Sanford Gregg Feldman, MD

I was told I had cataracts some time ago but I was nervous about having surgery, and really nervous about who to see. My neighbor had an excellent experience with Dr. Sanford Feldman at One to One LASIK and so I went to see him. All I can says is, WOW! No doctor has ever spent as much time with me explaining what was going on and how it could be treated. It's clear he's not only an expert surgeon but also a great teacher and a really nice guy. Dr. Feldman explained in detail how surgery works and what it would be like to go through. I soon realized I had been nervous for nothing and decided to go ahead with surgery. Everything went exactly the way Dr. Feldman said it would and I was seeing perfectly the very next day. Without glasses! I don't usually take the time to write reviews. But I'm so impressed with Dr. Sanford Feldman, I wanted to let everyone know.

I really can't say enough about ophthalmologist Dr. Sanford G. Feldman. I don't think I've ever met a doctor who seemed so caring, so meticulous about the way he approaches your eye problem, so thorough about the way he explains what's going on with your eyes or so willing to spend time with you. He did my parents cataract surgery with perfect results (and the new bifocal lens implants that means they don't need glasses for distance or reading now). He did my LASIK with perfect results. I was originally referred to him by a friend who said he'd never had a better pair of glasses than the ones Dr. Feldman prescribed. And now I refer all my friends and they always call me to say thank you -- best experience in a doctor's office they've ever had. Great staff, too. Friendly. Helpful. Dr. Feldman and everyone in his office really goes out of their way to help you. People told me I'd have to wait a long time in his office but that he's worth it. I actually got seen within just a few… minutes of arriving. A staff person said they're working hard to decrease wait times because they realize it has been a problem. The fact is I'd wait as long as I had to for this guy. I've been to others and he is absolutely the best.

You can wait a long time to see this doctor. However, his skill, expertise, and bedside manner are well worth the wait. I wish there were more caring doctors like Dr. Feldman in the world.
